when i go into the control panel I find a lot of things that i think are junk; for example there is all of my udates which equal a lot and then some programs that i am not to sure of what they are; my computer is running a little slower with all the unnecessary stuff that i downloaded on my computer i run windows xp and i have a pc (dell) i would like to know what i can and can not safely remove

If you don't want updates go to control panel%26gt; security, click on updates, turn off automatic updates. A good program I cannot do without is Toni arts Easy Cleaner for getting rid of unnecessary stuff on the computer with a click of a button. Another is Advanced Windows Care V2 Personal.
