So I drive a 1998 saturn sl1, and have been thinking about changing the shift knob but i dont know how to take the stock one off. it has a leather sleeve on it. i know most cars will just untwist but i dont want to force anything and was wondering if anyone has done this with this saturn or a simalar model.How to remove/change shift knob?for a stickshift there on pretty tight. put it in neutral and give it a good twist. its a twist off and twist on type of deal.
if its a automatic, duno never done one.
