I can not remove the livewire program by using uninstall because it does not have an option to change/remove the program. Any idea on how I can erase this one?How to uninstall a program in the control panel/add,remove program window,if it does not have a remove button?This may be caused as the limewire runs as a background process.
What you can do is start your computer in safe mode and then try to remove it.
If it still doesnt help, check the TASK MANAGER(you get it by pressing ctrl+alt+del) and check the APPLICATION tab to see if its listed there. If it is, END task IT and try uninstalling it from the add/remove prog wizard.
If its not, then check the PROCESSES tab to see if its there. You might try updating/installing the latest version of limewire and see if that puts a remove button on.
