it teaches children to believe in a lie, well then again many people's lives are consumed by satan and therefore he really is the one giving the gifts.

Why does it matter what random strangers do in their own homes, regardless of their religious beliefs or lackthereof? Where does it say that Christmas is only allowed to be celebrated by Christians? They are not hurting you so leave them be. There should be some kind of system to pick up these trees and compost them (in some cities, there are %26quot;green%26quot; trash cans that you put out on garbage pickup days).
