Should I remove the battery to change thermal load flasher in a toyota solara?

I would.Should I remove the battery to change thermal load flasher in a toyota solara? No. You do not need to remove or disconnect the battery. Duh! There is no power at the flasher (neither the turn signal flasher nor the hazard flasher) until you activate the turn signal switch or the hazard switch.

Edit note: But if you are nervous about changing it and prefer to kill power the switch, then just remove the fuse to whatever flasher you are replacing, either the turn signal fuse or the hazard fuse. Disconnecting the battery will scramble your clock setting and the radio stations you have programmed. Also, disconnecting the battery for more than a few minutes will reset the ECU and it will take a couple trips for it to re-learn idle settings and optimal engine air/fuel tuning.Should I remove the battery to change thermal load flasher in a toyota solara? You should disconnect the battery anytime you are servicing the electrical system. Just remove the battery ground cable. The flasher is located under the dash.
