How do i remove and change toilet flange on the floor when it is glued to drain pipe on concrete floor? How do i remove and change toilet flange on the floor when it is glued to drain pipe on concrete floor?the way I do it is break horizontal part of flange with hammer, then sawzall 4 places on vertical section where it's glued ( if flange is glued to inside of pipe ie 3x4 flange) then use long screwdriver and hammer to chip out whats leftHow do i remove and change toilet flange on the floor when it is glued to drain pipe on concrete floor?Take a inside cutter and cut the flange right at the throat and then use a rambit or a shreader to ream out the pipe down to the next hub joint. If the joint is to deep then you may need to chip out around the pipe so you can get a coupling on and then you can install your new closet flange. Good luck. http://www.hongfengflange.comHow do i remove and change toilet flange on the floor when it is glued to drain pipe on concrete floor? You don't need to replace the existing flange, they make repair flanges of different types that bolt to the existing flange or to the floor. I suggest buying one that is made of metal and a complete repair flange, it's thin but strong, place it on top of the existing flange and screw it to the floor using #12 screws and concrete anchors or 3/16 Tapcon concrete screws at at least 4-6 different points around it. There are holes in the flange for that, be sure to line up all the slots and holes in the repair flange with the existing flange. Don't use one of those half repair flanges or any plastic ones either, the plastic ones will just break with too much tightening of the toilet bolts. The toilet bolts only need to be snugged down so the toilet doesn't rock side to side so don't tighten them too much (that will crack the porcelain too). If after a few days you feel the toilet rock side to side some just snug down the toilet bolts once again (sometimes the toilet will settle down more after sitting on it a few times). How do i remove and change toilet flange on the floor when it is glued to drain pipe on concrete floor?replace the wax ring
